THE COMPANY BACKGROUND
In 1992, Terry and Debbie Daley began Direct Pest Control in Rockhampton. Terry had left a previous pest management position and felt that better service was possible. Clients reacted favourably to the quality customer service provided and the Daley’s dream was up and running. It grew out of hard work, commitment and customer focus as the new business spread over many kilometres covering
Central Queensland. Direct Pest Control offered a complete service, ranging from pest and weed control through to termite management, servicing the needs of domestic, commercial and industrial clients.

Soon Direct Pest Control was winning notice of and servicing government and private schools, hospitals, power authorities (including ground maintenance) as well as private enterprise clients, which included coal mines and food producers (dairy products and export standard meat works).
Due to the rapid uptake of quality customer service and business growth, loyal technicians were seriously encouraged to take on their own franchise areas. At a minimum set up cost, they were able to offer local pest management throughout
Queensland . Help in the form of technical advice, large contract quote advice, insurance policy interpretation and product training took the pressure off the franchisee and allowed them to focus on the customer.

The office, situated on the first floor of the City Centre Arcade, as shown in the photo above, was easily located due to the colourful marine life mural painted on the side of the building by world renowned marine artist, Wyland.
THE COMPANY TODAY
In March 2007 the State Management Office moved to Brisbane so that it could better serve its customer base. It is currently located at 7/26 Argon Street Sumner Park Qld 4074.
BRANCH LOCATIONS
Today, Direct Pest Control services most areas within Queensland, with franchises operating from Cairns in the North to the Gold Coast in the south and as far west as Mt Isa.
New branch locations are continually opening throughout Queensland.
CORPORATE CAPABILITY
Direct Pest Control currently undertakes a number of large comprehensive works contracts for both a large power supply authority and a national telecommunications customer alliance.
These contracts can vary from weed control at transmission towers or regulators to minor building and yard maintenance at isolated telephone exchanges.
Direct Pest Control's ability to service remote locations throughout Queensland and provide customers with tailor-made reporting and centralIsed invoicing has proven to be an asset to these larger facility organisations.
Direct Pest Control also services government departments, private schools, as well as private enterprise customers, including coal mines and food manufacturers.

Ability to service customers at all levels is seen as essential at Direct Pest Control.

Direct Pest Control services other major customers like the Australian Defence Force, Hotel Motel chains and major service providers with franchises throughout regional and metropolitan Queensland. Direct Pest Control can also provide its major customers with one invoice for all service work provided throughout Queensland and nationally.
